The Frazer Nash Motor Car Company was founded in the year of 1922 by a British man called Archibald Frazer Nash. He was also the founder of GN Cyclecar Company alongside Henry Ronald Godfrey. The Frazer Nash Motor Car Company was set up in Kingston Upon Thame, Surrey, Great Britain before relocating several years later, in 1929, to Isleworth Middlesex. The Company name changed in 1927, after entering receivership, to AFN Limited. A man named H.J. Aldington established most of AFN Limited and ran it alongside family members before selling it onto Porsche GB some years later. AFN became heavily involved with the assembly and import of BMW, they became the formal British BMW important up until 1939 when the Second World War started.

The Frazer Nash Motor Car Company was recognized particularly for their production of British sports cars. After the War, the company commenced the design and production of sports cars, and their involvement with BMW. The Frazer Nash Company also began dealing with the sale and importation of Porsche Cars in 1954, and became their formal importer in 1956. The company was in fact sold to Porsche in 1987. To this day, several Frazer Nash successor companies are still active including Frazer Nash Consultancy a engineering consultancy company and Frazer Nash Research who are working on electric vehicle design.
